[SD Republican Party Exec Director Lucas] Lentsch said the wealth of candidates shows that the party has energy and a strong commitment to retaking the state's lone U.S. House seat in November.
"It just creates a lot more energy and excitement, and people are paying attention," he said. "Does it confuse things? No, I think in order to have a conversation you need two or more people. And we're having that conversation in the House race."
As long as they are Republicans, anyway.
