I really struggled with my feeling about JF's passing as I felt his demonizing of those unlike him was not the heart of the Gospel and so I was angry--but I didn't want to fall into the trap of demonizing JF either. I commented on a blog about it and the blog author was quite kind and pastoral. She thought God was probably engaged in some serious corrective teaching, but that was between God and JF and none of our business. That was really freeing.
