Kristi Noem's superior economic analysis

I guess because I asked Rep. Noem to pass a jobs bill yesterday I got invited to join a conference call with her (as a listener.)

I listened to her blame the Postal Service for closing post offices (as opposed to Congress demanding that the Postal Service be self-sufficient while they tie their hands from making their own business decisions).

She then blames our job problems on our "high corporate tax rate" shipping American jobs overseas. Also, she said she hears “all over South Dakota” from “small businessmen” – “owners of restaurants and tire shops” that are not hiring because taxes may be raised above their first $200,000 of income… (1) The $10/day wages overseas and no worker, environment protection have nothing to do with it?? – (2) How many restaurant owners in South Dakota net $200K in personal income??

That was all I needed to hear tonight. Ugh.
