Letter to my school board member, Deb Baker

Dear Ms Baker and other RCAS board members,

Cases are rising, many of our staff are out sick and covid-isolated in numbers that never happened in the worst of last winter. We need mask mandates and we need them now. This is not a political issue, it's about our kids' ability to be educated and for their families to stay healthy and safe this year.

The time for politics on this is over, medical people that study these things (ie not sports medicine doctors), and my lived experience at Mines last winter tell us that mask mandates work to slow down this disease. Please we are begging you, please respond to the facts on the ground and support a mask mandate for a few weeks, before things get even worse.
